On-demand Privacy
On-demand Privacy uniquely provides customers with the ability to implement tailored privacy rules that are applied dynamically for specific user groups during session replay. Unlike privacy applied elsewhere within Discover this capability does not affect session data, it is dynamic and not persistent.
On-demand privacy is a useful approach to apply group level privacy where stored session data should not be changed but business requirements require replay users not to see certain data.
- Applied at session Replay
- Dynamically applied by group assignment
- Does not change stored sessions
On-demand privacy supports the ability to Replace, Block or Mask session replay data shown to the visitor.
Note
Note that the privacy supported functions is different to other types supported elsewhere in Discover, for example ReqSet is not supported and Replace should be used.
