Configuring Items
The Configure Items page is accessed:
- On the left navigation menu, select
- On Inventory dashboard, select Configure Items.
The Items (SKU) configuration interface defines global stock keeping unit rules, thresholds, and available to promise parameters across sales channels.
Using this page, you can:
- Configure expected Inventory button
- Manages future incoming stock allocations for available to promise forecasting.
- Scoping dropdowns
- Filters configurations by Organizational business units or distinct sales Channels, such as web stores or regions.
- Search and Filter
- Locates specific items by Item ID. Includes filter and column customization tools to manage the table view.
Configure Items columns
| Column Header | Description |
|---|---|
| Items and product name | The unique identifier and name of the commercial item. |
| Minimum and maximum thresholds | Safety stock boundaries that trigger alerts or reorder sequences when Inventory matches these values. |
| Backorder limit | The maximum number of units allowed for sale when physical stock is unavailable. |
| Track Inventory | A system setting indicating whether the platform monitors and decrements stock levels for the item. |
| Maximum backorder offset | A time-based or value-based constraint limiting backorder placements. |
| Available to promise (ATP) | The calculated Inventory available to safely commit to customer orders. |
| Actions | Provides direct links to edit or override the configuration for an individual line item. |
