Configuring expected Inventory

The Configure Expected Inventory page is accessed:
  • On the left navigation menu, select Business tools > Inventory > Configuration > Configure Expected Inventory.
  • On Inventory dashboard, select Configure Expected Inventory.

The configure expected Inventory interface logs, tracks, and manages incoming product shipments and stock allocations for upcoming arrivals to support available to promise Inventory forecasting.

Using this page, you can:
Configure Items button
Navigates back to the main stock keeping unit configuration settings interface.
Scope selectors
Filters data by Organizational business units or distinct sales Channels.
Search and Filter
Locates specific items by name or stock keeping unit (SKU). Includes filter and column customization tools to manage the table view.
Data customization toggles
Refines data parameters using a filters menu or customizes visible table columns.
View toggles
Switches the table layout between a flat list of all listings or a consolidated view grouped by stock keeping unit.
Add expected Inventory button
Opens the interface to manually create and log a new expected stock record.

Configure expected Inventory columns

Column Header Description
Expected identifier The unique alphanumeric tracking number assigned to an individual incoming shipment.
Item and product name Displays the unique stock keeping unit identifier, a short description, and the commercial name of the item.
Inventory location code and name Indicates the destination fulfillment center code and corresponding site name.
Date The expected arrival date for the incoming stock shipment.
Inventory status Displays the current fulfillment progress, including remaining, expected, and received quantities.
Allocated items and comments Shows the count of pre-allocated units and indicates internal logistical comments.
Status Indicates the current operational lifecycle state of the shipment, such as items currently in review.
Actions Provides an option to delete or cancel the expected arrival record from the tracking log.
