Inventory thresholds
Threshold overview
Thresholds are set on a per-Inventory Location basis, and define both low and high stock levels for individual SKUs.
Threshold alerts are observable within the Listing Inventory, where the total is tallied across your inventory. Thresholds for each SKU are highlighted under the Available column, where a hazard icon appears to indicate stock level warnings. To view the warning content, select the icon. A pop-up indicates the warning status of the SKU, and the number of associated Fulfillment Centers where the SKU is above threshold, below threshold, or out-of-stock.
Threshold defaults
Threshold defaults are applied to your inventory at the SKU level during catalog upload for all Inventory Locations (as defined within the Catalog data file (items.csv)).
- A minimum threshold for the SKU. This is the value when a SKU is considered low-inventory.
- A maximum threshold for the SKU. This is the value with a SKU is considered overstocked.
Setting thresholds
Business users can manually set global, or per-store thresholds.
