Approving or Rejecting Catalog Update requests

HCL Commerce enables the Marketplace Operator to approve Catalog Update requests received through the Marketplace tool.

Procedure

  1. Open Management Center Tools.
  2. From the hamburger menu, select the Workspace Management tool.
    Note: The Marketplace Operator will not be able to see the Workspace Management Tool unless the Workspace Task Group Approver role is also assigned. You can assign the Workspace Task Group Approver role to the Operator while creating a new Marketplace Operator or you can add this role to the existing Operator as well.
  3. HCL Commerce Version 9.1.16.0 or later Open Management Center tools and from the left navigation menu, click Business tools > Workspace > Task List.
  4. On the Workspace Management landing page, click on the My Task drop-down menu.
  5. Select the All (Canceled/Complete/Current) option from the list of available tasks.
  6. Click on the Marketplace Workspace button from the menu. A list of all the requests is displayed on the screen. All the requests are shown with one of the following statuses:
    • Ready for Approval: When the update request is submitted from the Marketplace tool, it is displayed in this list with Ready for Approval status. The Marketplace Operator can Approve or Reject the catalog update request.
      • Right click on the Ready for Approval icon.
      • Click on the Approve option to approve the catalog update request.
      • Click on the Reject option to reject the catalog update request.
    • Completed: When the catalog update request is approved by the Marketplace Operator, the status changes to Completed.
    • Rejected: When the catalog update request is rejected by the Marketplace Operator, the status changes to Rejected.
      Note: If the Catalog update request is rejected by the Marketplace operator, a seller can re-submit the request.
