Managing Email templates

Use Management Center to search, view, create, edit, duplicate, and delete.

Procedure

Important: This topic applies to Management Center for HCL Commerce version 9.1.19 and later. For Management Center for HCL Commerce version 9.1.18 and earlier, refer to the following topics:
  1. In Management Center, go to Business Tools > Marketing > Email Templates.
  2. In the Email Templates List page, you can perform the following tasks:
    TasksActions
    Search

    Use the Search field to find email templates.

    View

    Select the template name to view the email template and related information.

    Create

    Select Create Email Template.

    Optional: Select Record number of emails opened to track customer engagement. This setting records how many emails are opened during an activity. View the results in Management Center email activity report. For more information, see Email activity statistics.

    Edit
    Select the Edit icon from the Actions column.
    Tip: You cannot edit the store name.
    Duplicate

    Select the Duplicate icon from the Actions column. Enter a new name to create a copy of the template.

    Delete
    Note: Deleting an email template is permanent.
    To proceed:
    • For a single template: Select the Delete icon under the Actions column.
    • For multiple templates: Select two or more templates, then select Delete All.
