Opening WebSphere Commerce Accelerator from the Management Center

Access the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator without leaving the Management Center. You can use the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator to manage various tasks for your business.

About this task

The Management Center supports two Web browsers: Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox; however, WebSphere Commerce Accelerator supports only Microsoft Internet Explorer. If you are using Mozilla Firefox with Management Center, WebSphere Commerce Accelerator is not displayed as a menu option in the Management Center Tools application menu. You must use Microsoft Internet Explorer to open WebSphere Commerce Accelerator from within the Management Center.
Introduced in Feature Pack 2Note: WebSphere Commerce Accelerator does not appear by default as an option in the Management Center Tools menu. Use the Management Center preferences to specify that you want WebSphere Commerce Accelerator to display as a menu option in the Management Center Tools menu.

Procedure

  1. Open the Management Center.
  2. Introduced in Feature Pack 2Enable WebSphere Commerce Accelerator in Management Center:
    1. From the Management Center Tools menu, click Preferences to open the Preferences dialog.
    2. Select Enable WebSphere Commerce Accelerator; click OK.
  3. From the Management Center Tools menu, click WebSphere Commerce Accelerator to open WebSphere Commerce Accelerator in a separate browser window.
    • If you already have WebSphere Commerce Accelerator open, that browser window is in focus.
    • If you do not already have WebSphere Commerce Accelerator open, the Select Store and Language page within the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator is displayed. If there is only one store within the system, the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator main page is immediately displayed.
