Which browsers support Management Center?
To use Management Center, use one of the following browsers:- Mozilla Firefox
- Version 3.0
- Version 3.6 or any later Extended Service Release
- Microsoft Internet Explorer
- Version 7.0 and 8.0
- Version 9.0 and 10.0
- Version 11.0
Can I use Management Center on a Mac?
Management Center is not fully supported on a Mac computer.Note:
- You might encounter errors even if you try to use a supported Mozilla Firefox browser.
- To upload files to the Management Center using a Firefox browser, ensure that WebSphere Commerce uses IBM HTTP Server. Ensure that the SSL certificate is signed by a third party and is valid. You cannot use a self-signed certificate.
Can I use my mouse buttons to scroll?
Scrolling with your mouse is supported only in WebSphere Commerce Version 7 Feature Pack 5 or later. If you require the mouse scrolling feature, your site administrator must update to the latest feature pack.Where can I find documentation about the Management Center?
All the information about using the Management Center is in the section that you are currently browsing. You can also have an IT administrator install a local version of the WebSphere Commerce documentation within the IBM Knowledge Center so that you can access the documentation while offline. How can I get the online Help links to work in Management Center?
Help links within Management Center, such as
Getting Started links or the More details... links within detailed tooltips,
can access help content that is on the ibm.com website. This help content is
accessed from Management Center through the IBM
WebSphere Commerce Help Server. If the Help Server is
not installed when your WebSphere Commerce instance
was installed, the links do not work. Consult an administrator to resolve the issue. If you are an
administrator, the processes to enable accessing help content from Management Center is different depending on how users connect
to Management Center:
- If users connect to the internet to use Management Center, you can ensure that the help server is started and configured properly. For more information about help server configurations, see Starting and stopping the WebSphere Commerce Information Center.
- If users do not connect to the internet to use Management Center, you can install a local version of the WebSphere Commerce documentation that is in the IBM Knowledge Center.
