Creating a coupon promotion

You can create a coupon promotion from the Management Center for your store.

Procedure

Open Management Center Tools.
From the left navigation menu, go to Business Tools > Promotions > New Promotion > Order promotion.

Select the Order promotions from the following options:
Click the OK button.
The New Promotion page opens.
Enter the following details for the coupon.
- Promotion Properties:
  - Administrative Name: This is the name of the coupon.
  - Redemption method
  - Combination with other promotion
  - Priority
- Purchase condition and reward
- Redemption limits
- Schedule: When creating a promotion, you can define its start and end dates. You can also specify the promotion is only available on certain days of the week. Similarly, you can set a promotion to be valid within specific time periods, such as between noon and 5:00 PM. The promotion is considered available if the current server timestamp falls within the defined dates and meets any additional scheduling criteria. Otherwise, the promotion is unavailable and is not evaluated further.

Click the Save button.

Note: Click the Close button to discard the changes.

You can view the newly created promotion in the promotions list.
Right-click on the newly created promotion and select Activate to activate the promotion.
To advertise a promotion, create the content and then create a web activity.
