Cutting and pasting a question or answer
To move a question or answer from one part of
the tree to another, cut and paste it.You can also cut
and paste questions and answers from one question or answer tree to
another.
Procedure
- Edit the XML input file
- Locate the <question> or <answer> element that you want to cut.
- Highlight and the entire element, including all of the elements that it contains, and use the text editor's tools to cut the selected text. The selected item and all the questions and answers that follow it in the tree are cut and placed on the clipboard.
- If you are cutting a question, set the cursor inside of the answer element in which you want to paste it. If you are cutting an answer, set the cursor inside the question element in which you want to paste it.
- Use the text editor's tools to paste the selected text.
- Save the XML file.
- Update the production server by importing the updated XML file.
