Editing search terms assigned to a layout

Users with access to the Page Composer tool can edit search terms assigned to a layout.

Procedure

  1. Open Management Center Tools and from the left navigation menu, select Business tools > Store Management > Page Composer.
  2. A landing page opens which lists all the existing pages. The landing page consists of two sections, Pages and Layouts.
  3. From the Store filter, select the store for which you want to edit existing search terms.
  4. Enter the name of the layout for which you want to update the search terms. All the layouts related to search results are listed on the layout page. Click on the layout name. The Edit Layout page opens.
  5. Click Search Terms to open the search term tab and update the search terms assigned to the layout.
  6. Click on the name of the search term chip you wish to update. The search term name appears in the Search Terms column. Edit the text displayed in the search terms input field.
    Note: If you enter a search term that exceeds 228 characters, the user interface displays an error message.
  7. Click Enter to update the search term.

Results

The editted search terms are updated for the selected layout.
