Deleting search terms assigned to a layout

Users with access to the Page Composer tool can delete search terms assigned to a layout.

Procedure

1. Open Management Center Tools and from the left navigation menu, select Business tools > Store Management > Page Composer.
2. A landing page opens which lists all the existing pages. The landing page consists of two sections, Pages and Layouts.
3. From the Store filter, select the store for which you want to delete existing search terms.
4. Enter the name of the layout for which you want to delete the assigned search terms. All the layouts related to search results are listed on the layout page. Click on the layout name. The Edit Layout page opens.
5. Click Search Terms to open the search term tab.
6. Click on the X icon with the search term name you wish to delete. The search term gets deleted.
7. Alternatively, click on the name of the search term chip you wish to delete. The search term name appears in the Search Terms column. Delete the text displayed in the search terms input field and hit enter. The search term is removed from the assigned list shown at the bottom.
