The information contained in this section applies to IBM WebSphere Commerce Version 7.0.0.9 and Feautre Pack 8. The documentation also applies to all subsequent releases and modifications until otherwise indicated in new editions.
Operating
IBM Management Center for WebSphere Commerce
The IBM Management Center for WebSphere Commerce, or Management Center, is a suite of tools to support store management, merchandising, and marketing tasks for business users (Sellers, Marketing Managers, Product Managers, Catalog Managers, and others).
Tasks tool
Use the Tasks tool to select tasks, manage content within a task, and add comments and approve or reject tasks.
Using workspaces
You can manage content within a workspace in the Management Center by selecting tasks, managing content within a task, and adding comments and approving or rejecting tasks. If you want to manage the workspace itself, such as creating new workspaces or task groups, you can do that in the Workspace Administration Tool.
Working on tasks
If workspaces are enabled, you must be in working mode before you can work on activities that have been assigned to you in the Management Center. Once in working mode, any changes made to your store in the Management Center, are made only within the workspace to which the task belongs.
Completing tasks
If you have completed all of the content changes in a task, you can mark the task as completed.

Note: The Workspace Management tool replaces all of the workspace management features in the Workspace Administration Tool and the Tasks tool.

About this task

If you log off the Management Center before completing a task, the task remains in the previous state and changes are ignored.

Open the Tasks tool.
Find the task you want to mark completed.
Right-click the task in the list view, then click Mark Complete in the context menu.
The task status icon changes from work in progress to completed .

The task is now marked as complete and is removed from the To Do task list, and can be found in the Complete task list.
