Changing the SEO properties for content pages

In the Commerce Composer tool, you can change the URL keyword, page title, meta description, and meta keyword for a content page.

Procedure

  1. Open the Commerce Composer tool.
  2. In the search field in the upper-right corner of the page:
    1. Type the page name.
      Example: PrivacyPolicyPage
    2. Click the arrow beside the search field, and then select Content Pages.
    3. Click the search icon.
    The page is listed in the search results list.
  3. In the search results list, double-click the row that contains the page.
    Tip: Alternatively, you can use the explorer view to browse for the page and then double-click the page to open its properties view.
  4. Change any of the SEO properties.
    Tip: To include the store name or description in the page title, meta description, or meta keyword, you can use SEO substitution parameters.
  5. Click Save and Preview.
  6. In store preview, confirm your changes:
    SEO Property How to confirm changes
    URL keyword Check the page URL.
    Page title Check the page title.
    Meta description Check the HTML code for the page.
    Meta keyword Check the HTML code for the page.
