Opening task group changes

All changes that are made to business objects within a task group are captured as either create, modify, or delete history records. Once a history record is open, you can check the history record to ensure that the business object was properly updated.

Notes:
  • You cannot delete history records.
  • You cannot open the history records for task groups that are in one of the following approved or canceled states:
    • Complete
    • Published
    • Publish failed
    • Canceled
    To view the list of change history records for task groups in these states, an administrator must configure the Workspace Management tool. For more information, see Enabling the change history for approved and canceled task groups.

Procedure

  1. Open the Workspace Management tool.
  2. HCL Commerce Version 9.1.16.0 or later Open Management Center tools and from the left navigation menu, click Business tools > Workspace > Active Workspaces and Task Groups.
  3. Find the task group for which you want to view the history.
  4. Double-click a task group name to open it.
  5. Click the History tab.

    Every change that is associated with the task group is displayed as history record in the history table.

  6. To open a history record, double-click the row that contains the history record. Alternatively, right-click the row and click Open.

    If you are satisfied with the changes that were made to the modified business object, click Back to return to the History tab.

    If you see that the changes made to the business object are not correct, you can cancel the change by undoing the history record in the History pane.
