You can change a merchandising association if you have
surplus inventory on a product and want to offer an incentive for
customers to purchase it.
Procedure
- Open the Catalogs tool.
- Browse or search for the catalog
entry that contains the merchandising association you want
to change.
- Click the Merchandising Associations tab.
The merchandising association table displays.
Note: If you are using the extended
sites model, the first table displays merchandising associations for
the catalog entry in the catalog asset store.
- Click the appropriate fields in the merchandising associations
table that you want to change.
You can change only the
following fields:
Property | Description |

Sequence |
The order in which the object is displayed on the storefront.
Numbers are displayed in ascending order. |
Association |
The type of merchandising association:
accessory, replacement, up-sell, or cross-sell. |
Quantity |
The number of SKUs within the selected
catalog entry. |
Semantic |
The
semantic identifier: comes_with, none, requires, or temp. Any custom
merchandising association semantics you created also display. This
field is not visible by default. |
Date |
The date the merchandising association is created. This field
is not visible by default. |
- Click Save; then
click
Close.
