IBM Management Center for WebSphere Commerce
The IBM Management Center for WebSphere Commerce, or Management Center, is a suite of tools to support store management, merchandising, and marketing tasks for business users (Sellers, Marketing Managers, Product Managers, Catalog Managers, and others).
Page Layout tool
As a Marketing Manager, Product Manager, Category Manager, or Sales Manager you can use the Page Layout tool in Management Center to manage layouts for your store pages. By using the Page Layout tool, you can schedule different layouts to certain store pages, giving you greater control over your store design.
Page layouts
A page layout is a store page created for a particular layout type. It contains widgets associated with it and values for the properties of those widgets. Page layouts contain independent styling for pages and widgets such as its font sizes and font colors.

Working with page layouts

Here is a summary of store pages you can update layouts for when working with page layouts:

Department pages: Store pages that display the top-level category information.; For example, the Apparel department.
Category pages: Store pages that display subcategory information.; For example, the Sleepers and Pyjamas category.
Catalog entry pages: Store pages that display catalog entry information.; For example, the Versatil Empire Waist Sundress product.
Static pages: Store pages that display information that is not necessarily specific to the catalog.; For example, the Home, Privacy, and Contact us pages.
