IBM Management Center for WebSphere Commerce
The IBM Management Center for WebSphere Commerce, or Management Center, is a suite of tools to support store management, merchandising, and marketing tasks for business users (Sellers, Marketing Managers, Product Managers, Catalog Managers, and others).
Catalogs tool
Use the Catalogs tool in Management Center to manage catalogs, categories, catalog entries, merchandising associations, product attributes, and attachments in your store. The Catalogs tool lets business users create, and manage online catalogs. Catalogs provide a way of organizing the products that you want to sell. You define catalog data in groups of categories and products. Catalog data contains descriptions and pricing information for products and services.
Working with products
The Category Manager or Product Manager manages products, including adding or changing products in the catalog hierarchy.
Products
Products act as templates for SKUs, the individual pieces of merchandise that are ultimately sold to a customer. The product describes the general characteristics of the merchandise, and the SKU distinguishes the differences between the merchandise. For example, a product could be a men's shirt, and the SKUs for that product could be the different colors of the shirt such as a men's red shirt and a men's green shirt, or the different styles of shirt such as a men's short sleeved shirt or a men's long sleeved shirt.

You can create new products for your catalog using the Catalogs tool in the Management Center. Use the list view or product properties view to change the following product details:

Names
Descriptions
Images

You can also use these views to delete products.
