Troubleshooting: Store preview errors for new products while indexing is in progress
Store preview displays errors when you are viewing new products while the index is being built.
Problem
When you are previewing newly created
products while indexing is in progress, the storefront displays an error
that resembles the following snippet:
The catalog entry number "catEntryNumber" and part number "partNumber" is not valid for the current contract.
Solution
This issue occurs because the search index is being built, or because index propagation is in progress.
To resolve this issue, wait until the indexing process or index propagation is complete before you preview the new products.
The TI_DELTA_CATENTRY table's ACTION
column contains the current indexing
status. For example, the value P denotes Pending
(indexing is currently in progress)
