Server Configuration

This section describes how to set up and configure a server for iAutomate installation.

To configure servers, provide the following details:

  1. The IP Address/Host Name, where user wants to install the components.
    Note:
    The installer automatically detects the host name where the installer is running and auto-fills the information in the text box.
  2. Select the Account Type from the available options:
    • Local Administrator
    • Domain Account
  3. Type the Domain Name.

  4. In the UserName and Password fields, type the login credentials to access the application server.
  5. Click Check User Validity to validate the user to connect to the server.
  6. Click Browse to specify the appropriate Installation Path to install the server components.
  7. On successful connection to the server, a Validation Successful message appears beside the Password field.

  8. Click Next.

    The Pre-Requisite Checker page appears.

    Note:
    All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.
  9. If “Ansible CLI Wrapper Component” has been chosen below screen appear,

  10. Ansible Wrapper Component Server Configuration: -
    1. The IP Address/Host Name, where user wants to install the components.
      Note:
      The Ansible CLI Wrapper install on server where Ansible Wrapper is installed.
    2. In the User Name and Password fields, type the login credentials to access the server.

    3. Check User Validity to validate the user to connect to the server.
    4. On successful connection to the server, a Validation Successful message appears beside the Password field.

  11. Click Next.

    The Pre-Requisite Checker page appears.
