  DevOps Code ClearCase® provides a flexible set of tools that your organization uses to implement its development and change management policies.

    DevOps Code ClearCase® provides configuration management services that make it easy for development teams to work with resources in a shared repository.         Viewing the version tree of a resource
        Use the ClearCase® Version Tree view to see the version tree of a resource and to perform ClearCase operations (such as check in, check out, and apply label) on specific versions.
        Locating objects in the Version Tree Browser view
        Use the Locate dialog in the ClearCase® Version Tree view to find objects in the version tree of a ClearCase resource. You can search for specific versions, branches, labels, or activities that contain the that text you specify.
        Modifying resources in a ClearCase® view
        The workflow for modifying resources in a ClearCase® view involves checking them out and checking them in.
      - Using base ClearCase®
        Unstructured access to ClearCase® tools is provided by base ClearCase.
      - Working disconnected
        When you choose to work disconnected, actions that require a server connection are disabled and you are not prompted to connect when you attempt to perform them. You can work disconnected from a VOB server (in the case of a snapshot view) or from the CCRC WAN server (in the cases of a web view or automatic view).

Using ClearCase® Metadata Explorer Navigator

Use the ClearCase® Metadata Explorer Navigator to explore and view the metadata associated with base ClearCase® and UCM VOBs.

The ClearCase® Metadata Explorer Navigator displays a list of CCRC WAN servers and allows you to explore their contents.

To use the ClearCase® Metadata Explorer Navigator click the icon, which toggles the view back and forth between the ClearTeam Navigator and the ClearCase® Metadata Explorer Navigator, or clickWindow > Show View > ClearCase Metadata Explorer Navigator. If the ClearCase® Metadata Explorer Navigator does not appear in the list, click Other > ClearCase and then select ClearCase Metadata Explorer Navigator.

To explore a CCRC WAN server, click the plus sign (+) adjacent to the server name. VOBs, PVOBs, UCM projects, and streams known to a CCRC WAN server appear in both the ClearCase® Metadata Explorer Navigator and the ClearCase® Metadata Explorer Details view. UCM activities, label types, and branch types appear only in the ClearCase® Metadata Explorer Details view.
