- Developing software with DevOps Code ClearCase®
  DevOps Code ClearCase® provides a flexible set of tools that your organization uses to implement its development and change management policies.
- Developing software with ClearTeam® Explorer
  DevOps Code ClearCase® provides two clients for software developers: local and remote. Each client supports different mechanisms for accessing source-controlled filesystem objects. Both clients provide graphical and command-line interfaces.
  - Team software development with ClearCase®
    DevOps Code ClearCase® provides configuration management services that make it easy for development teams to work with resources in a shared repository. With the ClearTeam® Explorer, developers can access DevOps Code ClearCase from a variety of network connections, including broadband (WAN) and traditional local area networks (LANs). The ClearTeam Explorer also supports WAN access to Rational® ClearQuest® user databases.

      In some circumstances, you might want to disconnect from a CCRC WAN server or from a ClearQuest® user database.

      You can remove a server from the ClearTeam Navigator if you no longer want it to appear in the ClearTeam Navigator.

      Create a ClearCase® view to access resources in ClearCase repositories.

      Mount (or activate) VOBs to access source files from a view.

      - Resolving disagreements (discordance) between a view and the CCRC WAN server
        When a resource in a ClearCase® view is in an unknown state, it means there is a disagreement between the CCRC WAN server and a web view or automatic view about the state of the resource. You must restore the resource to resolve the disagreement.
      - Repairing VOB Tag Directories
        Use this option to update the local database of mounted VOBs of an automatic view or web view.
      - Repairing checked out and hijacked elements
        When checked out or hijacked files in a ClearCase® view are in an unknown state, it means there is a disagreement between the client and the server about the state of these elements. You must repair the checked out or hijacked elements to resolve the disagreement.
      - Removing a ClearCase® view
        Remove a ClearCase® view when it is no longer needed.
      - Updating the ClearTeam® Explorer
        Use the update manager to update the ClearTeam® Explorer to a newer version.
  - Team support for the ClearTeam® Explorer interface
    The ClearTeam® Explorer provides graphical user interfaces to ClearCase® tools.
