Viewing the version tree of a resource

Use the ClearCase® Version Tree view to see the version tree of a resource and to perform ClearCase® operations (such as check in, check out, and apply label) on specific versions.

Procedure

To view the version tree of an element:
  1. Select the resource whose version tree you want to view. Use the ClearTeam Navigator view, the ClearTeam Details view, the ClearCase® History view, or the ClearCase® Search Results view. If you are working in the Eclipse environment, use any Eclipse view that supports the Team context menu.
  2. Take one of the following actions:
    • Select Show ClearCase Version Tree from the context menu.
    • In the Eclipse environment, select Show ClearCase Version Tree from the Team context menu.
    • Click the Show Version Tree show version tree icon icon.

Results

The version tree of the resource is displayed in the ClearCase® Version Tree view and the version that is currently selected by your view is marked with the view-selected icon icon.
