Changing an e-Marketing Spot

You can change the properties of an e-Marketing Spot, such as its name, description, display type, and default content. You can also change the e-Marketing Spot default title content.

About this task

Ensure that the changes you make to the e-Marketing Spot properties match how the e-Marketing Spot is defined in the corresponding JSP file:
  • The Name field; the name must match the emsName parameter in the JSP file.
  • The selections for the Displays content, Displays catalog entries, and Displays categories check boxes; ensure that the type of content is supported by the JSP file.
  • The Default content specified; ensure that the JSP file supports the data type and quantity.
  • The Default title content specified; ensure that the JSP file supports the data type and quantity of the marketing content that is specified for the default title.

Procedure

  1. Open Commerce Lab Tools and from the left navigation menu, click Business Tools > Marketing > E-Marketing Spot.
  2. Marketing Spots List page opens. You can edit the Marketing Spot using one of the following methods:
    • Enter the name of the Marketing Spot you wish to update in the Search field. All the search results are listed.
      • Click on the name of the Marketing Spot to update the information. Edit Marketing Spot page opens.
    • From the Actions menu, click three vertical dots and click Edit. Edit Marketing Spot page opens.
  3. Edit the fields as required.
  4. Click Save to save the Marketing Spot, or click Close to close the editor and return to the previous page.
