Client Manager for Endpoint Protection (CMEP) Application in WebUI User Guide
With the CMEP Application in WebUI, you can manage endpoint security clients from third-party vendors. Refer to the System Requirements for vendor products.
The CMEP application includes the following features:
- Provides real-time health metrics and operational data from third-party endpoint security clients to support continuous monitoring and status visibility.
- Management and remediation of unhealthy third-party endpoint security clients for supported CMEP integrated products.
- Closed-loop verification of update and signature definition files are available only for supported CMEP endpoint protection products. Refer to CMEP Support Matrix for vendor products supported by CMEP.
The CMEP application in WebUI includes the following functionalities:
- Consolidated Summary: Overall deployment and health status across all devices and for each endpoint protection product in various summary graphs.
- Easy Filtering: Filtering of all devices based on Operation System, Device Type or Device Group.
- Quick Action: A single click to fix frequent deployments issues such as stopped Antivirus agent or outdated virus definition.
- Report Export: Exporting reports in PDF including various status summary graphs.
- Integration with Content application: Leveraging Content and Take Action application to deploy the antivirus definitions on selected devices.
- Device list: See the devices applicable for various reports like health status, deployment stats, and other status. You can check the individual device properties from the device list.
- Multiple Product Support: Supporting major antivirus products from vendors such as McAfee, Symantec, Trend Micro, Microsoft Defender, Sophos, and CrowdStrike.
