Client Manager for Endpoint Protection (CMEP) for Console User Guide

BigFix CMEP allows administrators to centrally manage and monitor supported third-party endpoint protection products.

This application provides the management capabilities for endpoint security clients from the supported vendors, including McAfee, Symantec, Microsoft Defender, Sophos, Trend Micro, and CrowdStrike. Refer to the System Requirements for vendor products.

The CMEP application includes the following features:

Provides real-time health metrics and operational data from third-party endpoint security clients to support continuous monitoring and status visibility.
Management and remediation of unhealthy third-party endpoint security clients for supported CMEP integrated products.
Closed-loop verification of update and signature definition files are available only for supported CMEP endpoint protection products. Refer to CMEP Support Matrix for vendor products supported by CMEP.
