Wake-from-Standby tasks

Wake-from-Standby tasks allow computers to wake themselves at a scheduled time using the Windows Task Scheduler, without requiring Wake-on-LAN hardware or network configuration. Use the Schedule Wake-from-Standby wizard to create and manage these tasks.

Create Task dialog for a Wake-from-Standby schedule showing policy name set to wake every monday, start time of 5:00 PM client local time, schedule set to Weekly every 1 week on Monday starting 06/10/2010
Note: You must run the action before the scheduled wakeup time. Scheduled wakeup actions require that Windows Task Scheduler Service is active.
