Adding Deployment Keys

Named Deployment Keys allow a single deployment to be shared across multiple instances of a product. This capability streamlines deployment management in complex or distributed environments.

Key Highlights:

• Shared Deployment: A single deployment can be associated with multiple deployment keys, enabling usage across different product instances.
• Configuration-Based Control: Whether deployment keys can be shared depends on product configuration:
  • ✅ Allowed: Some products support sharing deployment keys across environments.
  • ❌ Not Allowed: Other products require a separate deployment (and key) for each environment (e.g., dev, test, prod).

Steps to Add Deployment keys

• Click on the “Add Key” button.
• Enter a unique key name in the dialog that appears.
• Confirm to create the deployment key.
