Downloads in MHS

Introduction

The Downloads module on the MyHCLSoftware(MHS) portal lets users download the software they're entitled to. It organizes products by group and release so that users can easily browse, showing only what’s available based on the user's active maintenance and general availability (GA) status.

  • Displays all the HCLSoftware products the user is entitled to.

  • Users can browse through the product categories and download the appropriate software.
  • When a user selects a Product Group, the screen shows different Sections related to it. Each section has its own set of Products, making it easier to browse and find items. If there are any related supporting resources like documents, files, or links, they are also shown in the same place for easy access.
  • Selecting a specific product reveals all its Release Versions. This hierarchical view allows users to track, manage, and download different releases, accommodating various deployment environments and configurations.
  • When a user selects a specific Release, it may include one or more Sections, and each section lists multiple Files available for download.

  • If the License Agreement for that release has not been accepted yet, an "Accept Licenses" link will appear next to the release.

    Users must accept the license agreement before the Download and Copy options become accessible for the files in that release.

  • The user is required to carefully review the license terms, then select the 'Accept Terms' checkbox, and submit their agreement. Once submitted, the download icon will become active and clickable.
