By using the My HCLSoftware (MHS) portal, you manage the activation of license servers within a deployment.

My HCLSoftware - an overview
The My HCLSoftware (MHS) portal is the online interface used to manage license of your HCLSoftware products. Through MHS, you can seamlessly manage downloads, subscriptions, and deployments, making it simpler to access and manage the licensing of your HCLSoftware products.
Deployments
The Deployments tab allows you to create and manage your deployments.
Deployment keys
Deployment keys are generated after you create a deployment. Each deployment has a unique deployment key.
Assigning licenses
To assign license to your teams, you must first allocate the features the teams need and then activate the license server.
License server activation
By using the My HCLSoftware (MHS) portal, you manage the activation of license servers within a deployment.
- Activating the Local License Server
  You can activate the HCL Local License Server (LLS) in the My HCLSoftware (MHS) portal to download the license file which is further utilized in your LLS installation.
- Activating the Cloud License Server
  You can activate the HCL Cloud License Server (CLS) to generate a URL that is applied to license your HCLSoftware product.

License server activation

By using the My HCLSoftware (MHS) portal, you manage the activation of license servers within a deployment.

You can activate a license server for the deployment. There are two types of license servers:

HCL Local License Server (LLS): This license server is a centralized software system that serves licenses to HCLSoftware products. LLS is a stand-alone product that you can install on a dedicated system within your network. LLS contains a pool of licenses that is consumed within the same network or shared network.
HCL Cloud License Server (CLS): This license server is a cloud-based license server that is used when you have direct network access. To check the available features and their expiration dates, you can access the HCL Cloud License Server (CLS) URL in your browser.
