Repairing checked out and hijacked elements

When checked out or hijacked files in a ClearCase® view are in an unknown state, it means there is a disagreement between the client and the server about the state of these elements. You must repair the checked out or hijacked elements to resolve the disagreement.

1. Select the checked out or hijacked resources that you want to repair.
   You can select individual resources or an entire ClearCase view.
2. Right-click and select Refresh > Repair Checkouts and Hijacks from the element context menu or right-click on the name of the view that contains the checkouts and hijacks and select Refresh > Repair > Checkouts and Hijacks from the context menu.
