Synopsis
- gdmdelete [ –cdslib filename ] [ –xtra string ]
- [ –help ] [ –keepunmanaged ] [ –lib lib.cell:view/file ] [–file filename ] ...
Description
Uncatalogs the names of the specified files from a directory version on the current branch. This command does not delete the files themselves: they remain visible on other branches. By default, both managed and unmanaged file names are uncataloged.
Options and arguments
- –cdslib filename
- Specifies the library definition file.
- –xtra string
- Indicates additional arguments that are to be passed to rmname.
The string argument must be enclosed in quotation
marks if there is a space in the string.

- –help
- Displays the synopsis of this command.
- –keepunmanaged
- Preserves unmanaged files.
- –lib lib.cell:view/file
- Library elements to be uncataloged. Names listed without -lib or -file are treated as -file arguments.
- –file file
- Files and directories (non-library elements) to be uncataloged. Arguments specified without –lib or –file are treated as –file arguments.
