DevOps Code ClearCase command reference

DevOps Code ClearCase® and DevOps Code ClearCase MultiSite provide a command-line interface that enables access to all product functions. The command line processor supports interactive use, and can also be driven by various scripting languages.

This command reference provides information about the following types of commands:
  • cleartool and rcleartool subcommands as well as the cleartool and rcleartool commands themselves
  • File formats, environment variables, metadata
  • Those multitool subcommands that can be invoked through cleartool
  • Other utility programs that are included with DevOps Code ClearCase and can be invoked from the command line on Windows, the UNIX System, or Linux

Reference topics are classified by user role, though many commands are useful for several roles. There is also an alphabetical list of all commands by name.
