Enabling Open Graph tags for Ruby storefronts (B2C and B2B)

Open Graph tags function is added to Ruby storefront pages to enhance search engine optimization (SEO) and improve how content appears when shared on social media platforms.

Before you begin

Open Graph tags function is disabled by default. Enable it from the Commerce Lab.

Procedure

Enable the Open Graph tags for the Ruby storefront user interface by following the steps given below:
  1. Open Commerce Lab Tools.
  2. From the left navigation menu, go to Business Tools > Store Management > Manage Stores.
  3. All the stores are listed on this page. Double-click on the Ruby store. The Store Properties tab displays.
  4. Navigate to the Configurations window and select optional integrations and functions to Open Graph tags for the Ruby storefront.
  5. Click the check box to Enable Open Graph tags (when the store is served by Next.js).
    Open Graph tags function is enabled for you in the Ruby storefront.
  6. Click the Save button.
  7. Refresh the registries in Commerce Lab for Commerce+ or restart the Commerce+ server container.

Results

Your Ruby storefront store pages are enabled for better SEO.
