Primary Address for Ruby storefronts (B2C and B2B)

The primary address is the default address in your Ruby storefront account. It is stored in your profile for easy access during checkout and order management. This address is used for billing, shipping, and communication purposes.

Creating a primary address

You can create a new address by clicking the + Add Address button on the Address Book page. For more information, see Creating a primary address for Ruby storefronts (B2C and B2B).

Editing the primary address

When you create an account and enter address details, the address is saved as the Primary Address. To edit the Primary Address, see Editing the Primary Address for Ruby storefronts (B2C and B2B).

Selecting the primary address

You can change your primary address from the saved address book when managing multiple shipping, billing, or shipping and billing addresses. Once you select a shipping address as the primary address, it will be displayed as the primary shipping address. The same applies to billing addresses or shipping and billing addresses. The selected primary address is displayed on the checkout page as the default address.
