You must complete these steps to adopt the fix in this APAR.

Review the steps for Installing WebSphere Commerce Developer interim fixes.
Review the following information concerning WebSphere Commerce instances:
- First, apply the interim fix to the WebSphere Commerce installation directory. If you have enabled the Feature Pack 8 Management Center feature, you must apply the interim fix to the WebSphere Commerce instance. If the Feature Pack 8 Management Center feature is not enabled, then do not apply the interim fix to the instance.
Select an appropriate installation method for the WebSphere Commerce interim fix:
- Installation that uses the graphical user interface. For more information, see Installing a WebSphere Commerce interim fix interactively.
- Silent installation. For more information, see Installing a WebSphere Commerce interim fix silently.
To enable this interim fix, edit the WebSphere Commerce server's com.ibm.commerce.catalog-ext/wc-component.xml file. Add the following code under the SearchConfiguration section.

```
