User Group App Visibility & Work Shift Management

How It Works (For Users)
  1. Sign in – Tap your name or use your credentials on the shared tablet's sign-in screen.

  2. View your apps – The home screen shows only the apps assigned to your group(s), along with your profile information.

  3. Work your shift – A countdown timer shows your remaining session time.

  4. Get a heads-up – Before your session ends, a warning notification appears.

  5. Extend (if available) – If your administrator has enabled it, you can tap to extend your session by a set amount of time.

  6. Automatic sign-out – When time is up (or if the device is idle too long), you're signed out and the device resets for the next user.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I can't see an app I need. What should I do?Your visible apps are determined by the group(s) your administrator has assigned you to. Contact your IT administrator to request access to additional apps.

Q: Can I extend my session?Only if your administrator has enabled session extensions. If available, you'll see an option to extend when the end-of-shift warning appears.

Q: What happens to my data when I'm signed out?If your administrator has enabled data clearing, all your session data (app data, browsing history, etc.) is removed from the device. Nothing personal is left behind.

Q: Why does the device sign me out when I haven't touched it?The idle timeout feature signs you out after a period of inactivity. This keeps the shared device available for other team members and protects your privacy.

Q: I belong to two teams. Will I see apps from both?Yes. If you're a member of multiple groups, the device shows apps from all groups you belong to.
