To cancel a checkout

Procedure

  1. In the Version Tree Browser window, display the version tree for the element.
  2. Select a checked-out version.
  3. Click Tools > Undo Checkout.
  4. In the Confirm Undo Check Out window, select Save a copy of the file with a .keep extension to preserve the contents of the checked-out version as a view-private file.
    Clear this option if you do not mind losing any work you have done in the file.
  5. Click Yes.
