To compare one version with another

Procedure

  1. In the Version Tree Browser window, display the version tree of the element.
  2. Select a version in the Version Tree Browser display.
  3. Click Tools > Compare > with Another Version.
    The pointer changes to this:

    A circle has a diagonal line running through it.

    When you move the pointer over a potential comparison target version, it changes to this:


    Concentric circles have two lines crossed at ninety degrees at their center. A black arrow points toward the center, like a bulls eye in an archery target.
  4. Click the version to compare with the previously selected version.
    Tip: Right-click to cancel the comparison.
