Understanding the Version Tree Browser display

The version tree display shows the relationships among the versions and branches of a particular HCL VersionVault file or directory element.

The display looks as follows:

A version tree shows that the main branch has versions 13, 14, and 15. Version 13 has the label V2.1.NT.BL1. The branch v2_plus.nt is off version 14 and has version 2. A merge arrow connects Version 2 on the branch with version 15 on main. A human eyeball with a red arrow points a version 15.
In the simulated version tree, you see the following objects below the \main branch.
  • Version markers
  • Branch markers
  • Merge arrow
  • View select indicator
Other items that you can see in a display are:
  • Labels
  • Attribute
  • Activity
  • Creation information
  • Relation marker
  • Canvas
