OIDC support for Notes

In Notes 14.5.1, support is added for the use of the OIDC protocol to authenticate users.

Note: OIDC for the Notes client is supported only when Domino is the OIDC Provider.

A new OIDC policy setting for Notes includes support for the following features:

  • Authentication that uses an external browser
  • Support for Notes Standard client only
  • Continued SAML support
  • Either OIDC or SAML can be enabled in the Security policy, not both. The Domino administrator enables OIDC in the policy document by selecting "Federated Login" and then choosing an OIDC provider.
