My HCLSoftware - an overview
The My HCLSoftware (MHS) portal is the online interface used to manage license of your HCLSoftware products. Through MHS, you can seamlessly manage downloads, subscriptions, and deployments, making it simpler to access and manage the licensing of your HCLSoftware products.
Deployments
The Deployments tab allows you to create and manage your deployments.
- Creating deployments
  Creating deployment is the initial step in the process of activating your license for your HCLSoftware product.
- Deleting a deployment
  When a deployment is no longer required, you can delete it.
Deployment keys
Deployment keys are generated after you create a deployment. Each deployment has a unique deployment key.
Assigning licenses
To assign license to your teams, you must first allocate the features the teams need and then activate the license server.
License server activation
By using the My HCLSoftware (MHS) portal, you manage the activation of license servers within a deployment.

Deployments

The Deployments tab allows you to create and manage your deployments.

A deployment is a collection of allocated licensed features. You can create deployments to separate licenses allocated to a specific environment, project, department, and so on. Each deployment has a unique ID. The deployment ID is required at the time of configuring the license information of your HCLSoftware product.

Each deployment requires a name and a type. The type determines the available features and functionality for the deployment. After the deployment is created, you can view the deployment details.
