Creating deployments
Creating deployment is the initial step in the process of activating your license for your HCLSoftware product.

My HCLSoftware - an overview
The My HCLSoftware (MHS) portal is the online interface used to manage license of your HCLSoftware products. Through MHS, you can seamlessly manage downloads, subscriptions, and deployments, making it simpler to access and manage the licensing of your HCLSoftware products.
Deployments
The Deployments tab allows you to create and manage your deployments.

  Creating deployment is the initial step in the process of activating your license for your HCLSoftware product.

  When a deployment is no longer required, you can delete it.
Deployment keys
Deployment keys are generated after you create a deployment. Each deployment has a unique deployment key.
Assigning licenses
To assign license to your teams, you must first allocate the features the teams need and then activate the license server.
License server activation
By using the My HCLSoftware (MHS) portal, you manage the activation of license servers within a deployment.

Creating deployments

Creating deployment is the initial step in the process of activating your license for your HCLSoftware product.

Before you begin

You must have completed the following tasks

Registered at the My HCLSoftware (MHS) portal.
Procured a license for your HCLSoftware product.

Procedure

Click the Deployments tab.
All deployments are listed on the Deployments tab in the form of tiles.
Click the Add Deployment tile.
If there are multiple deployments, scroll to the end of the page to get to the New Deployment tile.
Enter a unique name for the deployment in the Deployment Name field.
The best way to name deployments is by naming them by features or teams, such as Appscan-dev, Appscan-quality, and so on.
Select the deployment type from the drop-down list.
You must select the product for which you want to create the deployment.
Click Add Deployment.

Results

The deployment is created and displays all of your licenses listed for allocation.
