The Insights feature provides DevOps metrics for your project data.
Insights reports
Insights reports are generated for the data that is aggregated in the Value streams, Pipelines, and Release categories. You can generate reports by clicking a button and then shared with the required stakeholders. You can run the following insights reports in HCL DevOps Velocity (Velocity).
AppScan Enterprise scan report
The AppScan Enterprise (ASE) scan report displays a summary of vulnerabilities identified in the scans conducted by an AppScan Enterprise instance for which an HCL DevOps Velocity (Velocity) integration has been configured.

Release Notes

    The insights reports generate reports for the data aggregated into HCL DevOps Velocity (Velocity).
  - AppScan Enterprise scan report
    The AppScan Enterprise (ASE) scan report displays a summary of vulnerabilities identified in the scans conducted by an AppScan Enterprise instance for which an HCL DevOps Velocity (Velocity) integration has been configured.
  - Release readiness report
    The Release readiness report details criteria based on internal standards and compliance requirements.
  - Security report
    The Security Report displays roles of all users based on the teams or groups they belongs to.
  - State of the sprint report
    The State of the Sprint Report page displays all the sprints with related work items for a value stream selected as the output for the report execution.
  - Deployment audit report
    The Deployment audit report displays a summary of the deployments.
  - Pipeline snapshot report
    The Pipeline snapshot report displays the snapshot of the pipeline for a specific value stream.
Analytics Dashboards
Analytics creates team-specific dashboards that generate charts for each activity of the product development. HCL DevOps Velocity (Velocity) creates dashboards automatically while you create a team.

AppScan Enterprise scan report

The AppScan Enterprise (ASE) scan report displays a summary of vulnerabilities identified in the scans conducted by an AppScan Enterprise instance for which an HCL DevOps Velocity (Velocity) integration has been configured.

The AppScan Enterprise report provides the information about the quality and severity of security issues. The report displays common issue types, issue type by application, and scans by application for the selected duration of time.

To run the AppScan Enterprise scan report, perform the following steps:

Click Insights > Reports.
Select the AppScan Enterprise scan report field under the Report Templates heading on the left side of the page.
Note: When the AppScan Enterprise scan report field is selected, a vertical blue bar is displayed on the left side of the field to indicate it as the report to run.
Click Run Report to open the RUN REPORT window.
Enter the following information:
- Start date - Select the start date for the scan report
- End Date - Select the end date for the scan report
Click Confirm to run the report.

The AppScan Enterprise scan report page displays the following information about the report:

Date: Shows the date, time, and email address of the user who ran the report.
Status: Shows the color-coded status: Orange = STARTED, green = COMPLETE, and red = FAILED.

The following elements provide detailed information about the report:

View log: When you click View log, the log details of the report are displayed.
View parameters: When you click View parameters, the VIEW PARAMETERS OF EXECUTION window opens and displays the details used to run the report.
Share: When you click Share, the URL is copied so you can share the report.
Results: When you click Results, the ASE scan report page is displayed.
