About this task
Start the Merge Manager from the context of a view that is not associated with a
UCM project or without view context.
If you work in a UCM project, start a merge in the context of
a deliver or rebase operation.
Procedure
- If the target versions are checked out to your view
for other reasons, create a pre-merge checkpoint by checking them in. To make
it easier to find this checkpoint, consider labeling the versions.
- In the display area of the File Browser, navigate to the directory
of the view containing the objects to be merged.
- Select an object or objects of interest.
- Click and select one of the following
commands to restrict the Find Merge search:
Whole
VOB, Any VOB, Current subtree, Current
dir, or Selected items
- Click one of the following commands:
