Deliver and rebase operations

Deliver and rebase operations change the configurations of streams.

• Deliver operations change the configuration of the shared work area.
  • If you deliver activities, you add activities that were previously available only to the contributing stream. (This type of deliver operation is typically performed by a developer.)
  • If you deliver baselines, you introduce new changes to the target stream. (This type of deliver operation is usually performed by a project integrator. For more information on delivering baselines, see the DevOps Code ClearCase Guide to Managing Software Projects.)
• Rebase operations replace the baseline in the stream configuration with a more recent baseline.
