Creating a duplicate layout

The Commerce Lab enables you to create a duplicate page layout through the Page Composer tool.

About this task

Note: Unless you have chosen a task, you will not be able to create a new layout.

Procedure

  1. Open Commerce Lab Tools.
  2. From the left navigation menu, select Business tools > Store Management > Page Composer. A landing page opens which lists all the existing pages. This landing page consists of two sections, Pages and Layouts.
  3. This landing page consists of two sections, Pages and Layouts. Select Layouts to create a new page layout.
  4. From Store filter, select the store for which you want to create a duplicate layout. All the existing layouts will be listed on the home page.
  5. Double click on the layout for which you want to create a duplicate copy.
  6. The Edit layout page opens.
  7. Click Duplicate. The Duplicate layout window pops up on the screen.
  8. Enter the Name you want to give to the duplicated layout and click Duplicate. The layout is created.
    Note: If you don't change the name of the layout, it will be named as the copy of the selected layout.
