Next.js store pages for requesting and obtaining consent
The default and any custom store built with Next.js store include sample pages with content and radio buttons for obtaining shopper consent to track shopping behavior. These pages can serve as references when creating consent pages for your custom store.
If you are incorporating a privacy policy page or a just-in-time privacy policy notice within your custom store, ensure you create the appropriate content to display on these pages.
If you decide to use the sample privacy policy pages provided, replace the sample content with your store’s actual privacy policy. The sample content is intended solely to demonstrate how to structure content on the page and should not be used as-is in your custom store.
It is your organization’s responsibility to ensure that any sample pages used in your store are appropriately customized to disclose accurate information to your shoppers. Additionally, it is essential that your legal counsel reviews and approves the content of your store pages and privacy policy to ensure compliance.

Privacy Policy page
The main Privacy Policy page is a store page that is always accessible by shoppers of the default Next.js store by clicking a link within the footer of any other store page. The Privacy Policy page is intended for the display of the privacy policy details for the store.

Just-in-Time Privacy Policy page
The page does not display by default. You can enable the page to display with the Store Management tool in Management Center for an environment.
The Just-in-Time Privacy Policy page is displayed as a pop-up window when a shopper first visits any store page after the display of the Just-in-Time Privacy Policy page is enabled. The page is displayed to shoppers again whenever the store privacy policy is changed. The page is also displayed when a shopper visits the store with a browser that does not include the cookie that indicates that the shopper previously accepted the current privacy policy.

Registration page
The Registration page is the page where shoppers specify their personal information to create an account and become registered users of the store. The page includes mandatory (marked by a red asterisk) and optional fields. When consent management is enabled, radio buttons for shoppers to select to provide consent are added to the page. By default, shoppers are opted-out, but shoppers can use the radio buttons to provide consent.
If a shopper provides consent, the registration data that is captured on the page can be used for adding the shopper to customer segments and for targeting the shopper with precision marketing features.

Similar to the Registration page, the page includes mandatory and optional fields. By default, shoppers are opted-out, but shoppers can use the radio buttons to provide consent.
If a shopper provides consent, the personal data that is entered on the page can be used for adding the shopper to customer segments and for targeting the shopper with precision marketing features.
