IBM Management Center for WebSphere Commerce
The IBM Management Center for WebSphere Commerce, or Management Center, is a suite of tools to support store management, merchandising, and marketing tasks for business users (Sellers, Marketing Managers, Product Managers, Catalog Managers, and others).
Marketing tool
Use the Marketing tool in Management Center to create and manage marketing campaigns and other store content, excluding catalog content. You can use the extensive precision marketing features in the tool to deliver targeted marketing messages to customers.
Managing activity statistics
The Marketing tool gathers and displays various types of statistical data about your web, dialog, and email activities.
Viewing statistics for an email activity
You can view the statistics for email activities to evaluate their success while they are in progress or when they are complete. For each email activity, you can review statistics that are related to email delivery and email effectiveness.

        Customer counters in web and dialog activities
        The Activity Builder displays customer counters under each element in a marketing activity. The number indicates how many customers reached a particular trigger, target, or action in the activity since it was activated.

        For each e-Marketing Spot that is used in a web activity, you can view statistical data to measure the performance of your marketing messages. You can check the statistics at any time while the activity is running, or after it becomes inactive.

        The Marketing tool displays statistics for e-Marketing Spots used in web activities. For a given activity, the statistics show the number of times the server has displayed content in the e-Marketing Spot, the number of times a customer has clicked the content, and the associated click-through rate.

        The Marketing tool displays statistics for email activities. For a given email activity, you can review statistics related to both email delivery and email effectiveness. This data can help you evaluate the effectiveness of your email activities while they are in progress and when they are complete.
        Viewing the statistics of an experiment
        You can view the statistics for experiments while they are running, to determine how the experiment is progressing. You can also view the statistics for completed experiments.

Viewing statistics for an email activity

You can view the statistics for email activities to evaluate their success while they are in progress or when they are complete. For each email activity, you can review statistics that are related to email delivery and email effectiveness.These statistics include the number of email deliveries that were attempted, that were delivered, and that were not delivered and bounced back. The summary also indicates the number of emails that were opened and that were clicked.

Procedure

Open the Marketing tool.
Click the Activities folder in the explorer view.
Right-click the email activity for which you want to view statistics. Then, click Open.
The properties page opens for the selected email activity.
Click the Statistics tab to view the statistical data.
To close the activity, click Close.
