Troubleshooting: In-context preview does not function properly
In-context preview does not function properly for some categories or catalog entries. Store preview opens to the home page, rather than to a specific store page.
Problem
An SEO URL keyword does not exist for the category or catalog entry objects. To directly preview these objects in the storefront, in-context preview requires that the objects have an SEO URL keyword.
Solution
Ensure that your category object or catalog entry object has an SEO URL keyword.
- Open the Catalogs tool.
- Open the object that you are having issues with.
- Click the Search Engine Optimization tab.
- In the URL keyword field, specify a URL keyword.
